A genuine hand woven Uppada sari takes two to three months to weave, whereas the Jacquard loom can weave a sari in 7-8 days. The difference of quality is evident if one sees the reverse side of the sari. Customers need to be care full while paying the price of such duplicates Uppada saris as the quality of silk and jari is poor.
